Performers pitch talents to Leamington Peace Festival organisers

The team of ten listened to samples from 160 acts before choosing 50 to be included in a shortlist to be considered to perform at the two-day festival, which takes place on June 15 and 16.

Dave Steele, of the committee, said: “Our task was not easy because the standard was so high.”

Applications have now closed and the 30 successful acts will hear from the committee later this month or in April.
