Perry claimed the first two games but world number 25 Khan came back to level and looked to have seized control of the match.

However, a more composed display in the final game saw Perry come out on top 14-12, 11-9, 9-11, 5-11, 11-4.

Perry then got off to a flying start against Indian number one and top seed Dipika Pallikal in the final, racing into a 9-5 lead

However, Pallikal responded brilliantly to win in straight games, 11-9, 11-3, 11-7.
