Pink Parkrunners do laps for cancer care

A band of sweaty pink runners turned out in force at a charity Leamington Parkrun event on Saturday, at which 20 people braved the heat to run four laps of the 5k course to raise funds for Breast Cancer Care in memory of Harbury mum Rachel Brown.

Starting at 7am, the runners were later joined by more people and by the usual 9am start, there were 308. More than £370 was raised. People can still donate online at: uk.virginmoneygiving/InmemoryofRachel
