Police appeal after dog attack in Leamington

Warwickshire Police is appealing for witnesses or information after a dog attacked another dog near Calder Walk, Leamington Spa.

The incident took place at around 7pm on Tuesday September 8.

A 27-year-old man was walking his boxer dog through the park near Calder Walk, when a blue/grey Staffordshire bull terrier-type dog attacked it.

The boxer dog sustained injuries to its face which required veterinary treatment.

The owner of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier-type dog then left the scene, without leaving any details.

He is described as a mixed-race man of a muscular build, between 19 to 23 years old and around 6ft 2ins tall.

He is thought to have black shaven hair and was wearing a grey tracksuit.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have any information. Please call police on 101, quoting incident 322 of 8th September.
