Police appeal after Leamington golf course robbery

A woman in her 20s was walking through the golf course from Gresham Avenue at around 7pm when was hit in the face by a man who ran of with her handbag and purse.

She was in the wooded area from Campion Hill at the time of the assault.

The attacker is described by police as black, around 5”3 inches tall, of medium build and in his early 20s.

He is also said to have shaven black hair and was wearing a black jacket and black trousers at the time of the assault.

Warwickshire Police officers are urging anyone with information or who was in the area at the time, to come forward.
