Police appeal after serious assault outside Leamington nightclub

Warwickshire Police are appealing for a taxi driver to come forward as he may have vital information after a 19-year-old man was assaulted in Tavistock Street in Leamington on Wednesday April 22 at about 1.57am.

A taxi driver who was parked second in the rank directly next to the entrance of Smack nightclub and can be seen on CCTV from 1:57am until 2:03am, stood next his cab and is seen looking directly down the alleyway next to the club where the majority of the assault took place.

Officers are also appealing for anyone who may have witnessed any incident in the area between the mentioned times to contact Warwickshire Police.
