Police appeal after spitting incident in Leamington
The incident took place near the traffic lights on the junction between High Street and Lower Avenue on Saturday November 1 at approximately 3:22pm.
It is believed that two cyclists had ridden through a red light from the direction of Tachbrook Road onto Lower Avenue, when they came into the path of the victim’s van causing him to brake to avoid them.

Hide AdThe victim, a 34-year-old man reported that one of the cyclists confronted him and then spat in his face.
The suspect is described as a white man in his late 40’s, with olive/tanned completion, short dark hair with dark facial stubble and spoke in a foreign accent. He is also described as riding a mountain style bike and wearing a hooded top tied around his waist.
Anyone with any information or who know the described suspect, are encouraged to call Warwickshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 311 of November 1.
