Police appeal following fatal road traffic collision on B4453 in Princethorpe

Police are appealing for information after a fatal road traffic collision in Princethorpe.

The incident happened on the B4453 between the junction of B4455 Fosse Way and Hill Top Farm, on Saturday 14 February just after midnight.

A Vauxhall Zafira is believed to have collided with a pedestrian. The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the vehicle, a man in his 40s, was uninjured.

The deceased has been named as Sean Walsh, who was 45 years old and from Princethorpe.

His family have asked that their privacy is respected at this very difficult time.
