Police appeal for witnesses to crash near Wellesbourne

Five people were injured in a crash near Wellesbourne this week - and police are appealing for witnesses to help officers determine what happened.

The collision, between a lorry, a white Renault Kangoo and a red Citroen Picasso, happened on the A429 between Ettington and Wellsbourne on Monday (August 11) at around 8.15pm.

Two of the people travelling in the Citroen suffered from minor injuries and another person from serious injuries. One of people travelling in the Renault suffered minor injuries and another from serious leg injuries.

None of these were life threatening. All five patients were taken to the University Hospital in Coventry.
