Police make arrests after robbery in Leamington

POLICE have arrested a 16-year-old youth and 21-year-old man from the Stratford area on suspicion of a robbery in Leamington.

Both have been questioned and released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.

The incident took place near the junction of Tachbrook Road and Bury Road on Thursday April 12 at about 2.30pm.

During the robbery a man was assaulted and his wallet is believed to have been stolen.

He suffered bruising to his body.
