WARWICKSHIRE Police officers seized more than £420,000 - the force’s largest ever seizure - following a motorway stop check last week.

Police officers stopped a Honda Civic on the M40 on Tuesday (January 17) and arrested 43-year-old Amanda Cameron, of Uxbridge, on suspicion of money laundering offences.

Cash totalling nearly £112,000 was found hidden in the boot of the vehicle and a search of her home in Uxbridge resulted in an even larger amount - £309,940 - being located.
