Police warn of dangerous MDMA tablets circulating in Warwickshire

There are believed to be MDMA tablets in circulation which are larger and have a higher level of purity than normal. The tablets, as pictured, are yellow and have what appears to be the TESLA logo.

DCI Ally Wright said: “It is not only illegal to buy and sell drugs but can also be very dangerous, and potentially fatal. We are urging the public not to be tempted to take any illegal drugs - you don’t know what they are made of, where they have come from or what effects they may have on you.

“However, it is our duty to alert people to the fact that there appears to be a particular batch of MDMA tablets in circulation which are larger than normal and have a significantly higher purity of MDMA, this means that the health risk associated with taking these tablets could be even higher.”
