Police warning of high winds and rain on the way
Police have issued a safety warning as strong winds and rain are forecast to his the district over the next 12 hours.
Motorists are advised to take extra care when driving on Monday evening and early into Tuesday morning after the Met Office issued a warning about high winds that could reach up to 60mph.
A Warwickshire Police statement read: “With rain and strong winds forecast for the rest of today and tomorrow, motorists across the region are being urged exercise caution when out and about on the roads.
“There is potential for fallen branches and pools of standing water on roads in the region.”
