75 years of the Soroptimists
THE Leamington and Warwick Soroptimists are celebrating this year after reaching their 75th birthday.
The group was set up in 1936 and has been working hard to fundraise for a range of charities ever since. They are perhaps best known in the local area for their annual Soroptimist Swimathon at Warwick School, which has so far raised over £134,000 for various charities.
Throughout June they held several celebratory events including a barbecue and birthday lunch.
