Leamington mayor celebrates 'neighbourly generosity in these times of great challenge'

The generosity of neighbours was celebrated at Leamington mayor's civic service.

Mayor Cllr Susan Rasmussen said she was delighted at the many local leaders, residents and community representatives that attended the service, held at All Saints' church in Leamington and conducted by Father Christopher Wilson, the mayor’s chaplain.

Cllr Rasmussen said: "In these times of great challenge with Covid we decided to dedicate the service to 'neighbourly generosity'.

"I want to thank the many civic dignitaries and Leamington residents who brought gifts for the foodbank and donations to my charities.”

Donations were taken during the service in support of the mayor’s charities which are Motionhouse, Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, and also for the Church Organ Roof Appeal.
