Matt Western has held Labour’s seat for the Warwick and Leamington constituency in the General Election

Mr Western received 23975 votes.

Of his opponents, Conservative candidate James Uffindell received 11563, Louis Adam (Liberal Democrats) - 3881, Laurie Steele (UK Independence Party (UKIP) Nigel Clarke (Reform UK) 5154, Hema YellaPragada (Green Party) 4471.

Exit polls and results so far suggest Labour will win the election by a landslide with around 410 MPs and a majority of about 170 and that the party’s leader Sir Kier Starmer will be the new UK Prime Minister.
