Poppy Appeal launch success

PRIDE and passion were on display at the Warwick branch of the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal launch.

The branch held a concert at Northgate Methodist church last Friday featuring performances by the Royal Naval Association Male Voice Choir accompanied by Julie Edwards, four-part a capella choir Vivo and 1940s war singer and entertainer Madeline Brown who bills herself as ‘a star of the future from the past’.

The RNA Choir sang the oration For The Fallen and also Lest We Forget, both written by Mike Sammes.

The standards of both the Royal British Legion and The Royal Naval Association were paraded.
