Potentially dangerous patient on the run from hospital has been found in Leamington
A mental health patient who was described by police as a possible danger to the public has been found in Leamington.
David Burke, 37, who has serious mental health issues, absconded from St Andrew’s hospital in Billing Road, Northampton, last Friday afternoon and police launched an appeal to find him.
He left the site by unknown means with another man - who was found on Saturday evening - and Northamptonshire Police said at the time the pair were probably headed for Birmingham or Coventry.
West Midlands Police today said Mr Burke was found on Tuesday in Leamington Spa and taken into custody.
