Prince’s Trust team support their community in Leamington
The 16 to 25-year-olds, who are working on the Prince’s Trust Team programme to help them prepare for work and further education, researched and planned the community project and funded it themselves - partly through a sponsored day of walking 108 miles in laps around Warwick Racecourse dressed in fancy dress.
They have now completed the project, during which - through a day of wind and rain - they re-designed the garden area of the WAYC office at Jubilee House in Westlea Road, by making furniture from old wooden pallets, planting herbs and flowers and creating some artwork to surround the project.

If we had not received some extra support from all these businesses; the project may not have come together.”
The team members will now complete their work placements.
The Prince’s Trust Team programme is a 12-week employment, teamwork and community skills course that helps 16 to 25-year-olds prepare for work and further education. To find out more, contact Paul on 07799 843722 or email [email protected]
