Pupils’ efforts for good causes

SIXTH formers at Kineton High School who dedicated much of their time to organising events for a charity week have raised more than £5,700 for good causes.

The Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, Diabetes UK, Help for Heroes and Guide Dogs for the Blind have each been presented with cheques for £1,440 by the school.

The money was raised through an auction and various other events that the pupils organised themselves last year during their annual ‘charities week’.

Alison Gadsden from the air ambulance visited the school to receive the organisation’s share of the money and thanked the sixth formers for their generosity.
