Queen and princesses prepare for big fete at Warwickshire village

Long Itchington May Queen and two princesses were selected recently, ready for this years event.

Judges in Long Itchington have selected Rebecca Fariss as their May Queen for this year’s village fete, which takes place on May 27.

Her princesses will be Olivia Cooper and Tilly England. The event, at Long Itchington Primary School, will include a fancy dress competition, a steam engine, fairground rides, games, a marching band and a raffle with what organisers are describing as “glittering” prizes.
