Robbery in Abbey Fields
ROBBERS wrestled a teenager to the floor and punched him in the face before stealing his mobile phone and cash in Kenilworth on Friday (April 27).
The 16-year-old boy was walking near the swimming pool in Abbey Fields at around 5.15pm when the criminals approached him from behind and dragged him to the floor.
One of the men hit him in the face before the two men stole his Blackberry mobile phone and some money before running off.

Hide AdBoth attackers are described as black and aged 18 or 19. One was wearing a grey hooded top.
Police are appealing for witnesses. Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area between the swimming pool and Bridge Street on Abbey Fields between 5pm and 5.30pm on Friday should contact Pc Damien Murray in the acquisitive crime team south on 684039 or can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously.
