Rugby Bridge Club raises funds for Myton Hospices

Rugby Bridge Club has celebrated after raising £360 for The Myton Hospices.

The funds were generated by players making a donation to Myton and competing in a knock-out-style rubber bridge tournament, with matches taking place in players’ homes.

Club member Terry Bradbury, who organised this year’s event, said: “It is good fun to play a different type of bridge and, at the same time, to raise funds for such a worthy local cause.”
