Rural driving

YOUNG farmers from south Warwickshire have joined a nationwide campaign to help reduce the number of deaths of young drivers on roads in rural areas.

Members of the Worm-leighton Young Farmers’ Club are supporting the movement’s national federation and NFU Mutual in their ‘Drive it Home’ campaign, which was launched at the ProDrive centre in Kenilworth on Tuesday.

Working with road safety charity Brake, the campaign aims to give young rural drivers road safety training, to offer people customised courses so they can practise driving in challenging conditions and to ensure that all 644 Young Farmers clubs offer members road safety awareness training next year.
