School hosts e-book pilot for pupils

WARWICK School is embracing the future of reading technology as they offer pupils the chance to borrow e-books.

The school has been selected to be part of a national library e-book pilot where students have the opportunity to borrow and read from a range of e-books.

They can be downloaded onto various gadgets including mobile phones, iPads and e-readers, with the school having ten available for loan.

Year eight pupil Thomas Steeley was the first to borrow one and said: “I associate gadgets with having fun so was encouraged to read even more over the half term holiday.”
