School opens new childcare area
PUPILS and staff at a village school had two reasons to celebrate this week.
Long Itchington Primary School and its pre-school held an assembly to mark the arrival of Coventry Catherdral’s Cross of Nails as part of its pilgrimage to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the National Society, which was established in 1811 to promote Christian education in Church of England schools.
After the assembly the school opened its new early years and childcare area.
