Slideshow: Art in the Park festival in Leamington

Leamington’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show gold-winning piece by Sarah Horne was among the many exhibits on display at the Art In The Park festival in Jephson Gardens at the weekend.

Event organiser Carole Sleight said: “It was an inspiring, fun and creative day.” Among other artists taking part was Sonia Bublaitis, who exhibited one of her ‘living canvases’ and has now been asked to exhibit the piece permanently in Jephson Gardens. There was also live music, drama, a balloon race and workshops - and torrential rain on the Saturday did not put off visitors from turning up. Sponsors of the event were LSA, Gallery 150, Warwick District Council, BID Leamington, Wright Hassall, Leamington Round Table, Magenta and Signworks.
