Solar park - not here, say villagers
VILLAGERS in Newbold Pacey have not welcomed the idea of a solar park being built on farmland near their homes.
Several people are against the idea, which has been put forward by renewable energy development company Enfinity UK, because they say agricultural land should not be built on.
The firm is running a pre-planning application public consultation on the idea. People have until tomorrow (Wednesday) to respond. Call Stratford District Council on 01789 260356.
