Soldiers and air cadets on town parade

MORE members of the armed forces are set to march through Warwick next Saturday (June 30) before signing a community covenant with Alan Farnell, leader of the county council.

Twelve troops of Hussars along with air cadets and staff from the Air Training Corps, a corps of drums plus a few members of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, the Ghurkhas and a detachment of REME soldiers from Bramcote will be on parade.

The marchers will set off from Pageant Gardens at 11am and proceed up Castle Street, cross High Street and up into Church Street and Northgate Street before signing the covenant in the Judge’s House.
