A burst pipe caused the flood, which caused damage to the carpets and the electric system.

When the flood was discovered, stock was moved to the children’s area to protect it, keeping damage to a minimum.

Electricians have worked to restore the system and de-humidifiers have been on throughout the weekend to dry the building at its temporary location in Brewster’s Corner.

Tracey Baker, customer services manager, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused. This was out of our hands.

“Thanks to all who have worked so hard to protect stock, furniture and fittings to keep damage to a minimum and ensure that there was no delay in reopening.

“Thanks also to the electricians who have worked hard to ensure that not only are we operational again, but have also ensured the building is absolutely safe.”
