Spa Strummers help Sydenham celebrate
Ukulele group the Spa Strummers took part in Sydenham’s 50th anniversary celebrations when they performed at Asda on Saturday.
Staff dressed in 1960s attire to mark the decade in which the estate’s first houses were built and a collection was held for Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice. The Strummers will also be supporting the hospice at their second Ukulele Festival at the Newbold Comyn Arms on Saturday from noon. Also, member written a song for Slimming World called I’ll Optimize which has already had 4,000 hits on YouTube. spa-strummers.co.uk
