State of churchyard is an insult
On Sunday I visited the churchyard to place flowers on my mother’s grave/memorial plaque.
On entering the churchyard I was very shocked to see the unkempt state of it. The grass surrounding the graves/memorial plaques was very long and unkempt and some of the plaques almost obscured from view. It was obvious that the grass hadn’t been cut for a long time.

I appreciate that there have been council cutbacks and also some destruction by vandals recently, but that is no excuse for the unkempt and untidy state of the churchyard - it is a disgrace and an insult to the people who are laid to rest there. - Name and address supplied.
