‘Steve’s fight has inspired us all’
A COLLEAGUE’S fight against Motor Neurone Disease has inspired staff at a Warwick firm to cycle almost 200 miles to help those suffering from the illness.
Nine riders from MPS builder’s merchants are raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, because of the way the firm’s commercial manager Steve Midgaff has battled the life limiting illness.
The riders rode 192 miles between the firm’s Birmingham, Warwick, St Albans and Fareham depots at the weekend.

Hide AdRider Sharon Bateman, who works at Warwick, said all were inspired by the way Steve, who was diagnosed in 2008, had dealt with the illness.
She said: “He’s taken every challenge that’s been put in front of him. The way he’s dealt with it has been incredible.”
