Strict drills and laundry duty - Leamington children go Victorian
Children from Leamington school Brookhurst Primary stepped back to the Victorian era for a day at St John’s House Museum in Warwick, where they dressed in period costume and took part in Victorian-style school lessons, gym drills, inspections - and they even got to try their hand at doing some Victorian-style laundry.
A spokeswoman from the museum said: “It was fantastic to the children get involved with each of the tasks with boundless enthusiasm.”
