Support group celebrates milestone

The event was attended by Warwick and Leamington MP Chris White and councillors Trudy Offer and Alan Wilkinson - the mayors of Warwick and Leamington.

Representatives from the Stroke Association and staff from Leamington Rehabilitation Hospital also came and enjoyed a slice of celebration cake, which was donated by The Cakery in Leamington.

Stroke survivor Jane Malone, who founded the group, said: “Our first anniversary was one to remember and the funds raised will help our group to continue running and giving the much-needed support to people who have had a stroke a helping them to regain their confidence and to return to a normal life.”
