Suspected arson at Leamington farm
A FIRE that occurred on a farm in Leamington is being treated as arson.
Police are keen to hear from witnesses to the incident, which occurred on a field at Red House Farm at Campion Hills on Wednesday July 25 just before 6pm.
One witness reported seeing one or more people running from the direction of the fire and officers are asking for help in identifying these individuals so that they can be interviewed.
Investigations are at an early stage and officers are keen to hear from people who were in the area on Wednesday afternoon who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area who might be connected to the fire.
A spokeswoman for Warwickshire Police said: “Arson is an extremely serious offence that can result in the loss of life and or property. If you have any information that could assist officers, please contact us.”
