Swimmers make a splash to save Warwick pool

Petitioners have handed over signatures in hope of saving the splash pool at St Nicholas Park leisure centre.

Oscar Sternberg who uses the pool with dad, David, handed the petition which calls for a rethink over plans to scrap the children’s pool amid £3million upgrades to the centre.

Parents are calling for the pool to be replaced and upgraded rather than lost to make space for a viewing area.

A total of 240 users have now signed the petition calling for change which was handed to Cllr John-Paul Bromley and Cllr Jackie D’Arcy (pictured) who have supported the call to reverse Warwick District Council’s decision.
