Up to 60 people can make the leap down the 90ft M-Block at Leamington’s Warwickshire College on April 9 in the first fundraiser of its kind.

The challenge, which is new for the college and charity centre, aims to get people trying something new for 2016 to bring in funds for community services

The Gap Abseil Challenge is open to anyone over the age of 14 to do their bit for the popular centre.

All funds raised will help the charity continue its work to relieve loneliness and promote health and wellbeing across the district.

The Gap also runs a number of activities including a youth club, adults lunch club, and sports and exercise classes for all ages. It caters for over 2,000 people every month.

Sara French, fundraiser for The Gap, said: “We thrilled to be able to bring this exciting event to the community.
