Teenager arrested after man was reportedly hit by car outside McDonald's in Rugby

A teenager has been arrested after a man was reportedly hit by a car outside McDonald's in Rugby.

Police put out an appeal earlier this week to get more information about the incident, which happened at Junction One Shopping Park at around 8.45pm on Sunday July 24.

Police have said today (Thursday) that a 19-year-old man of no fixed abode has been arrested on suspicion of committing an offence of violent disorder under the Public Order Act.

They have also thanked everyone who helped with the appeal.
