Teenager robbed and beaten

SEVEN males robbed and wounded a teenager in Leamington on Monday evening.

At around 7.15pm on Monday March 7 the seven men approached the teenage boy at the entrance to the park on Cubbington Road, just before Pound Lane, and asked for his bag and mobile phone.

When he refused he was punched several times by the men, who then made off with his bag.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward and DC Imran Ghouri said: “This robbery occurred on a main road at a busy time of day and we are urging anyone who believes they may have seen the people involved to contact us as soon as possible.”
