Three in court over blackmailing Leamington man
Demanding money from people in a threatening manner has landed two Warwick men and a Leamington woman in court.
Ryan Neil Watkinson, 39, and James Francis Wright, 34, of Coten End, Warwick, and Samantha Louise Bolton, 27, of New Brook Street, Leamington, appeared before magistrates in Leamington yesterday (Thursday) charged with blackmail.
The charges relate to an incident in Leamington on Sunday in which they demanded money with menaces from a man.
Watkinson and Wright were remanded in custody and was released on bail. All three are due to appear before Warwick Crown Court on July 25.
