Three in jail for Leamington park robbery

THREE Leamington men have been jailed for their part in a robbery at the Pump Room Gardens.

Peter Henry, 25, Mark Dixon, 24, and Stephen O’Hanlon, 28, were given prison sentences at Warwick Crown Court yesterday (Thursday) in relation to the robbery of four 17-year-old men who were threatened with violence on June 30 last year.

The robbers also stole items, including a watch, cash and mobile phones, from the teenagers.

Henry was sentenced to 18 months in prison for each robbery victim - to run concurrently, 18 months for 15 burglaries and a further month for breach of a community order, making a total of 37 months.

Dixon was sentenced to two years in prison for the robbery to run consecutively to a previous sentence for burglary, making a total of four and a half years.

O’Hanlon received a 39-week sentence for the robbery, suspended for 18 months as well as a community order.
