Three injured in A46 car crash

THE A46 Warwick Bypass came to a halt yesterday evening following a serious car crash.

Just after 4pm firefighters from Alcester, Stratford and Leamington were called to a road traffic collision on the A46 just past the Snitterfield turn near to Radcote Farm.

Two cars had been involved in the crash and three people were trapped. One female casualty was soon released, but two others were medically trapped and firefighters and paramedics worked hard to release them using specialist cutting equipment.

The police were also in attendance.
