Top pianist to play for Myton

AN international prize-winning pianist who has played with some of the world’s most famous orchestras is travelling from Bulgaria to Eathorpe village hall next weekend to help raise funds for Myton Hospice.

Andrean Lazarov, will perform music by Rachmaninov, Ravel, Lizst, Schubert and Chopin in a recital at the hall, the proceeds of which will go to the charity.

The pianist has played with, among other prestigious performers, the London Symphony, Chicago Symphony and New York Philharmonic Orchestras and with Sir Simon Rattle, Sir Colin Davis and Valery Gergiev.

The recital takes place next Saturday (February 25) at 8pm. Tickets cost £12.50 (£11 concessions) and include a glass of wine. Call 632575.
