Tossers wanted for Rugby's Pancake Race

There's still time to enter the Rugby Pancake Race and raise money for a good cause.

This year’s Ladies’ Pancake Race will raise money for a very special little girl.

The organisers, Rugby Rokeby Lions Club, have decided to support Mia Williams and are aiming to raise £1,000 to buy a specialised Safe Chair for Mia.

Nine-year-old Mia was born without eyes, has cerebral palsy and suffers from low muscle tone. This year’s Pancake Race will help buy a specialised Safe Chair for Mia to enable her to sit independently both inside and out in the garden. The race takes place on February 9 on Sheep Street, Rugby, and fancy dress is encouraged.
