Trains delayed after problems at Hatton

Trains are expected to be disrupted around Leamington until early this afternoon due to signalling problems on the line.

National Rail has warned of delays between Leamington and Stratford which are not expected to clear until around 2pm.

Chiltern Railways has also warned passengers of the signal problem between Hatton and Leamington, with buses to replace the service expected to run between Dorridge and Leamington later this morning.

A National Rail statement read: “A signalling problem near Hatton is causing delays of up to 30 minutes to trains between Tyseley and Leamington and Stratford-upon-Avon.

“This is expected to continue until 14:00.

“Engineers are en route to site to assess the problem. Apologies for the disruption.”
