Another hazard on a main road near Rugby - the second incident at the same spot in three days

A Rugby Borough Council vehicle had to be rescued from the side of the B4453 road, closing a lane near Burton on Dunsmore.

It appears the vehicle was stuck near the grass verge and ditch and was rescued by another council vehicle, so no police were involved.

Just two days ago, a lorry landed on its side after veering off the road just a quarter of a mile from the incident today, causing long delays.

Residents said there have been many accidents recently on this main road.
