“On the evening of Friday 8th January 2016 the world lost a son, brother, uncle, friend, boyfriend and a future daddy in a tragic accident that has left us all numb & heartbroken.

“I ask you all to please share this link along with a small donation to help in their time of need. The gift you give today, will allow and help Sam’s family and loved ones to grieve with out the stress of financial burdens and pay towards a trust for Sam’s baby girl.

“It is clear to see that Sam has left a massive hole in so many peoples lives. He will never be forgotten and his cheeky smile will forever be in our memories.”

The page has raised £365 so far, with a target of £2,000.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Advanced life support was administered to the man who had suffered serious injuries.
