Trophy winners of Kenilworth Carnival 2016 announced
13 floats and walkers made up this year’s procession, which left from the Brays car park in Kenilworth Castle at 1pm before eventually making its way to the top of Abbey Fields by 2.45pm.
Town mayor Cllr Richard Davies said: “I think the Carnival went really well on the day.

“The quality of the floats this year was exceptional, as were the walkers.
“I’d like to praise the safety marshals as well, who are often forgotten. If it wasn’t for them there would be no carnival.”
Organisers wished to thank everyone who was involved this year, whether they were on a float, walking in the procession or simply lining the streets.
The winners are as follows:
Overall Float – Mark Higgerson Cup: St John’s School
Overall Walker – Betty Higgerson Cup: McKernan Family
