Two injured in crash

MEN are being treated in hospital after a tractor collided with two cars on the Stoneleigh Road at 1pm on Tuesday.

Emergency services arrived on scene following a “significant collision” between the three vehicles.

A man travelling in one car, believed to be in his late 40s, suffered chest, back and abdominal injuries and was taken to University Hospital in Coventry for emergency treatment.

Another man travelling in the second car, believed to be in his late 60s, suffered multiple injuries and was transferred to Warwick Hospital for further treatment.

Both men received emergency treatment at the scene and their conditions were stabilised after they were cut from their vehicles.

No-one else was injured in the collision.
